Bishop's Blurb
Once again we begin the adventure of a new year! My family, the Bishopric and myself would like to thank the 9th Ward for your wonderful support over the past six months as we have started this new stage of our lives. It truly has been amazing and we owe all of it to the amazing members of the 9th Ward, that are so anxiously going about living the gospel in their day to day lives.
As with each year, we begin the new year with our annual Ward Conference. We hope that you will be able to attend this Sunday the 18th of January, as we have many visitors from the Stake coming to offer their support and bare their testimonies of this work. We will surely be blessed as the themes of "Unity" and "Becoming a Zion People" are presented. As we were admonished in the October Conference, I personally hope that we are continuing to pray for the missionary work to continue to go forth throughout the world. I also hope that we are continuing to pray for unity; in our homes, in the Ward and throughout the Church around the world. Finally, I would ask that you continue praying for our youth. You have wonderful daughters and sons, and I have enjoyed getting to know them better and watching them grow through their struggles and more importantly through their successes.
We as a Bishopric look forward to a wonderful year and are grateful to be the servants of such a beautiful group of people. We love you and pray for you always. May the Lord bless you and increase your testimony over this new year. Bishop Jones
